PPC Social Media and Programmatic Ad Specialist – EHN Canada

EHN Canada, a nationally recognized and accredited network of private addiction and mental health treatment centres, is looking for a Digital Ad Specialist with specific focus on social media and programmatic platforms to join a multi-disciplinary, data-driven, agile, and fast-paced team. EHN Canada is focused on aggressively growing its digital footprint and establishing the organization as the premier leader in addiction treatment and mental healthcare in Canada.

The Social Media and Programmatic Ad Specialist will work with the Digital Marketing Team by creating and optimizing campaigns across a range of social media ad networks including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and StackAdapt. The candidate is also expected to build and manage awareness campaigns, remarketing and retargeting ads, ads for native advertising platforms and display ads.

Key Objectives

  • Find and nurture new customers through paid content on social media and programmatic platforms
  • Establish digital ads as a reliable and growing source of B2C and B2B customers
  • Create and maintain awareness for our facilities and programs across Canada
  • Generate leads (inquiries) from digital ad traffic; focus on conversion
  • Produce deep understanding of B2C and B2B digital customers
  • Develop real-time reports related to social media and programmatic ads, with a particular focus on B2B metrics

Responsibilities

  • Develop the strategic planning, execution and daily management of all digital ads on social media and programmatic platforms
  • Continual testing, optimization and tracking to ensure business goals are met (i.e. your contribution to inquiry and admission targets)
  • Monitor bid management of campaigns across all social media and programmatic networks to identify trends, opportunities and areas of concern
  • Maintain and monitor all parameters including but not limited to keyword bids, website placements, targeting (topics, interests, behavioural), daily and monthly budget caps, impression share, and quality score
  • Maintain regular communications with the B2B Marketing Manager to ensure adequate paid social media representation for all aspects of the business (i.e. new programs, services or facilities)
  • Report results and KPIs regularly and in an easily understandable format to highlight performance against targets or benchmarks and recommendations for improvements
  • Producing and presenting reports on ad activity to internal stakeholders
  • Work with copywriters and graphic designers on the refinement of campaigns, copy and landing pages
  • Help define copy requirements (offers, benefits, product features, etc.) and delivery dates for creative
  • Ensure accurate tracking of customer journey through Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, CallRail, HubSpot, and other software as needed

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Math, Business or related field
  • 2+ years’ experience managing competitive ad campaigns across multiple platforms and for many websites simultaneously
  • 2+ years’ experience managing campaigns on Facebook, LinkedIn and StackAdapt (or other similar programmatic platform); additional expertise with YouTube and Instagram is an asset
  • Preference for those with experience targeting B2B audiences based on interest, demographics and behaviour
  • Passion for data analysis and data driven decision-making
  • The enthusiasm to keep abreast of industry standards, new technologies and the latest approaches in digital marketing, with the ability to communicate this to the Digital Marketing Team
  • Able to develop a long-term strategy with hands-on ability to get things done

Skills

  • Proven PPC and SEM experience with a focus on social media and programmatic channels, and demonstrated familiarity with lead generation tactics
  • Time and project management skills
  • Track record to meet or exceed targets and deadlines
  • Constant monitoring of trends or changes related to PPC that informs adjustments to strategy or tactics
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic that can operate with limited supervision and guidance
  • Maintains a positive and collaborative attitude in a fast-paced, agile environment

Extras

  • Digital marketing experience in healthcare or behavioural health is a plus
  • Bilingual – Canadian French
