Intensive Half-Day Program For Eating Disorders

Our half-day program provides patients the skills to interrupt eating disorder symptoms/ behaviours, stabilize weight and normalize eating. This is best suited for patients who are seeking support beyond weekly therapy sessions and do not require the structure of the Full-Day Program. In fact, patients in this program may be able to continue working or going to school while in the program. We take a customized approach for each patient, based on their dietary needs. As with our Full Day Program, dietary accommodations are made for clients who are vegetarian, celiac, diabetic or who have food allergies. Accommodations for religious practices are also made.

Program details:

  • Five days a week from 7:45am – 11:00am
  • One meal and one snack
  • DBT skills training groups
  • Nutrition and meal support
  • Weekly monitoring of vital signs and weights
  • Weekly individual DBT session
  • Monthly family meeting
  • Transition support

Safety precautions against COVID-19

COVID-19 should not prevent someone from being able to receive life-saving addiction and mental health treatment. Rest assured that we are taking every step possible to protect our current patient population from contracting the infection.

Our facilities have policies and protocols in place to protect patients, including screening new patients, limiting visitors, and moving aftercare groups to online meetings.

Continue to our action plan to see what we are doing to protect our patients from COVID-19.
