Measurement-Based Care
Your recovery journey shouldn’t rely on assumptions. At EHN Canada, we use real patient data from regular, evidence-based assessments to measure patients’ progress and ensure treatment is moving in the right direction.
How does measurement-based care (MBC) work?
Across our facilities, care follows this approach:
- Measure: Clients complete clinically validated questionnaires throughout treatment to track progress
- Refine: Results are shared and discussed with the client’s care team
- Progress: Changes are made to the care plan as needed to support continued improvement
Together, this continuous cycle keeps care data-driven, responsive, and focused on meaningful outcomes.
Canada’s leader in measurement-based care
When choosing a treatment program for mental health or addiction, look for proof that it works. EHN Canada is proud to be a recipient of Greenspace Health’s 2025 MBC Impact Award for Highest Average Symptom Improvement.
What does this mean? Our structured, routine use of outcome data directly drives deeper, more meaningful, and long-lasting healing for our patients.
Why MBC Matters
Measurement-based care is associated with meaningful improvements in patient outcomes, including reduced symptoms, higher treatment completion rates, and improved long-term recovery. It also enables patients to track symptoms and communicate more effectively with their care team, supporting more informed treatment decisions.

A Collaborative Approach to Exceptional Outcomes
We believe our patients shouldn’t be passive participants in their own care. Using regular, scientifically validated tools—including the PHQ-9 and GAD-7 screeners—lays the groundwork for a transparent feedback loop between our patients and their care team.
