In this program, you’ll join hands with a team of dedicated professionals and fellow service members who understand your experience. We have built a team of kind, strong, and seasoned doctors, nurses, and counsellors and doctors to help support you along the way

Family Treatment Support
Addiction is a family disease. As our patients work towards recovery from addiction this or other mental health disorders, we provide their families with the knowledge and skills they need to support their loved ones and themselves. We also offer support to other families who may need it.

During your stay in Peterborough, you’ll receive support from medical experts and fellow veterans, military members, first responders, and frontline healthcare workers who understand the challenges you’re experiencing.
Our medical team provides the care and guidance you need to face traumas related to your line of work, including moral injuries, and overcome any concurrent concerns you may have, like addiction. Your intimate cohort of peers offers the understanding and encouragement you need to open up and move on.
Our groups are the perfect size to provide community support while allowing you to get the individual help you need.

Core Addiction and Mental Health
Those in the military, healthcare, police, and firefighting career see and experience circumstances unimaginable by the average citizen. And every day they make difficult life-and-death decisions. As a result, they often experience moral injury, post-traumatic stress disorder, and operational stress injury. Substance use can become a way they choose to deal with these feelings.

Our programs are designed to treat both the symptoms and the root cause of a mental health disorder and/or addiction. And since we understand that families can be as impacted as the patient, we offer workshops to help spouses and children recover as well.
