Anni Muhlegg
Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist, BSW, RSW, MA
Anni has been passionately engaged in the field of mental health and addiction for over 20 years in both the public and private sectors. Anni joined EHN Canada in 2019, first supporting the aftercare services prior to joining the intensive outpatient programs full-time.
Anni grounds her practice in a psychodynamic, transpersonal and whole-person approach to wellness. Her approach to recovery is guided by a compassionate inquiry approach grounded in curiosity, resilience and heartfulness. Anni holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (2009, UVIC, with Honours) and a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology (2015, Yorkville, with Distinction). Anni’s holds certifications in Trauma Informed praxis, Hakomi Mindfulness-based Experiential Psychology, Gottman’s Couples counselling, Expressive Arts facilitation, Indigenous Cultural Competency, and she is certified as a Level 2 Neuro Affective Relational Model (NARM) therapist for healing development and complex trauma.
On a personal note, Anni is grateful to be part of such a diverse and talented team and in her leisure time, she loves to ride her horses, garden, climb mountains, play and compose music and appreciates the medicine of laughter and quality time with her family.
