At Bellwood, we have been treating addiction disorders and related mental health issues for over 30 years. Delivered by an inter-professional team, our abstinence-based program takes a holistic approach to treatment addressing the physical, psychological, spiritual and social aspects of health and recovery.
By treating not just the problem but also the person as a whole in a serene, calm, home-like setting, we support our patients as they practice the tools of recovery and gain the strength and ability to make healthy choices critical to overcoming their addiction.
As part of the Edgewood Health Network, Bellwood supports recovery and restores hope in our patients’ lives. Our compassionate, caring staff share a deep commitment to our patients. We take incredible pride in our work, inspiring a sense of hope and possibility that builds the foundation for happier, healthier lives.
At Bellwood, we realize that aftercare is critical for successful long-term addiction recovery. That’s why one year free aftercare is included in the price of our residential addiction treatment programs. We also provide the option of online aftercare through the Wagon mobile app.
At Bellwood, we believe it is important to measure our success rates and have external reviewers validate our research. Our research is published in scientific journals and shows that 83% of our substance use clients who participate in our comprehensive treatment program with recommended continuing care support are successful in their recovery. We offer a range of programs and services for individuals 18 years of age and older.

COVID-19 should not prevent someone from being able to receive life-saving addiction and mental health treatment. Rest assured that we are taking every step possible to protect our current patient population from contracting the infection.
Our facilities have policies and protocols in place to protect patients, including screening new patients, limiting visitors, and moving aftercare groups to online meetings.
